The History of Thazhavila Devi Temple
Our Journey
Situated in Karodu, Thiruvananthapuram, our temple is an ancient sanctuary that has protected this land for several centuries.
The shrine began as a modest structure, preserving the spiritual essence of southern Travancore. Following a sacred Devaprasnam, the temple underwent a major renovation to restore its divine glory. This led to the installation of a beautiful new idol, consecrated to reflect the eternal power of the Goddess.

The sacred evolution of our holy shrine.
Today, the temple flourishes under the guidance of our dedicated head priest, ensuring that every ritual honors our rich antiquity. Through prayer and service, we continue to uphold these timeless traditions in our humble hamlet.

May the grace of Thazhavila Devi continue to shine upon all devotees as we walk this path of tradition and faith.
